Registry-style ceremonies by civil celebrants, not a government registry office. No fuss, no frills, no wedding. Just paperwork.

Interpreters and Translators

Sometimes a marriage needs language support.

Documents in another language

If your documents are not in English, you will usually need a proper translation.

That can apply to:

  • birth certificates
  • divorce papers
  • death certificates
  • other supporting documents

When an interpreter may be needed

If one or both parties do not understand English well enough to follow the marriage process and the legal words, an interpreter may be needed.

Ask early

If language support might be needed, tell us as early as possible.

That gives us time to explain what is required and whether extra paperwork or extra cost is involved.
